Dr. Urban is a native of Edmonton, AB. She completed 5 years of undergrad at the University of Regina where she graduated with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and a Bachelors of Health Studies. Alongside her studies, she played hockey for the University of Regina Cougars. During this time, she developed a passion for Naturopathic Medicine. Following graduation, she returned to Edmonton and completed 1 year at the University of Alberta before relocating to Tempe, AZ where she attended the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM). While in Arizona Dr. Urban became certified in Applied Kinesiology through the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK). Upon graduation, she obtained a naturopathic medicine license in Alberta and maintains membership in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
Dr. Urban uses individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs. She strives to educate her patients on their health so that they may be empowered to take control of their health. Dr. Urban uses a variety of holistic and supportive conventional therapies in conjunction with diagnostic testing to find and treat the root cause of a patient’s illness.
